When we were approached to design the first Mochachos drive through for a client in Fourways, we enthusiastically set ourselves the goal of developing a fresh, original aesthetic that would not imitate other existing drive through restaurants in the country. The building form is markedly simple but has a bold reclaimed timber screen separating the restaurant space from the filling station. A steel mesh box floats high on the corner drawing attention to the signage in this otherwise tucked away site.
