The house in Amanzimtoti is a modern beach house set in a quiet tranquil neighbourhood. The house, designed for newlyweds is situated on a hill side with uninterrupted 180 degree views of the Indian Ocean. The strong architectural lines in the house and the brief from the client mandated a sophisticated, yet relaxed dressing of interiors in a way that is both elegant and youthful. The lines are clean, the spaces are warm and brought to life with interesting pieces that define the centre of each space. Large saltwater aquariums divide the spaces and inform the internal language as well as correlate with the sea outside.
